Patrick has done volunteer work for 20 years and has received awards from Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Boys & Girls Club. His work has also included service on an AIDS awareness committee in Boston and on a fundraising committee of a domestic violence shelter in Dallas. He is currently a volunteer tutor at a Dallas Boys & Girls Club where he was honored as one of the organization’s Top 100 Volunteers. He serves on the board and helped it raise more than $100,000. His previous volunteer work was with Big Brothers Big Sisters where he mentored for seven years and was named Big Brother of the Year in 2010.
